Weather Stem
The weatherSTEM program is a weather data-driven STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) based curriculum. Students use this software program to learn about a variety of weather topics including air pressure, precipitation and wind. They also get the opportunity to see in real-time how weather impacts the physical world.
The WeatherSTEM program is unique because students study a variety of atmospheric, agricultural and meteorological concepts, and learn by using weather data and observations directly from Coolidge’s weather station. This website is used by students when attending the WeatherBug/Connections class, and can be accessed anywhere Internet is available. Each grade level has a different focus for the quarter that revolves around specific weather topics.
